It took me a while to get onto this whole smoothie bowl thing but I am starting to get it now. I already stir in hemp hearts into my smoothie to remind me to chew while I am drinking it – chewing helps generate an enzyme found in your saliva that helps you properly digest your food and better absorb nutrients. Here is my Green Mango Smoothie Bowl recipe with Tropical Vega Protein and Greens – which is my favorite Vega smoothie product. A scoop of Vega Protein and Greens has 20g of plant-based protein, and lots of added greens (alfalfa, spinach, and brocolli).
Green Mango Smoothie Bowl
1. In a high-speed blender, combine all smoothie ingredients and blend until smooth and thick. Add extra mango for a thicker texture or extra non-dairy milk for a thinner texture.
2. Pour into a bowl and top with desired garnishes.
